Programme Board

Create The 12th International PMI PC Congress we are based on the opinions of the members of our Program Board. It brings together practitioners and experts from different market sectors and organizations of all sizes. Every year, Program Board recommend the Congress slogan, key areas and topics that are important for project management.

This year, the flagship “Drive For Connection – People.Business.Technology” presents, on the one hand, presents a continuous drive to develop in terms of project management, both project managers and organizations (DRIVE), but also the need to combine and integrate multiple areas of knowledge and teams to improve performance (CONNECTION). During this year’s edition, we want to show you in three paths, the side of development of soft skills (Excellence In Leadership), the need to understand the specificity of the organization (Business and Strategy), but also we want to present the different types of projects that are currently affecting many organizations (Digital Transformation).

Purpose

The purpose of the Program Board is:

  • provide conference participants with the appropriate selection of areas and topics discussed during the Congress
  • recommendation and choice of speakers with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the area of ​​specialization.

With great commitment, they watch over quality and content of the entire program of the 12th International PMI PC Congress to make the participants feel special during the most prestigious and recognizable event for the project management community in Poland.

Bartosz Górczyński

For 25 years he has been involved in the IT industry in Poland and in the world. Manager, consultant, coach and social activist.

In his early years, he worked in commercial IT companies specializing in the management of customer service organizations. He managed nationwide service organizations and complex projects.

In 2000 he founded and managed CTPartners S.A., a consulting and training company, which became a leader in the management of IT service organizations. He was its president until 2012, as well as a trainer and consultant.

Bartosz is an active member of global IT organizations. He co-founded Help Desk Institute in Poland and acted as a founding member of the itSMF Association, where he was a long-term Chairman and in 2012 he was elected to the itSMF International Chairman.

Since 2014 he has been managing the CIONET community in Poland, which was set up by the Polish branch in mid-2014. CIONET is the 360 CIOs and IT Directors in the community who meet, share knowledge and experience, create interesting content, and collaborate on many ambitious fields.

Szymon Pawłowski

He graduated from the Cracow University of Economics and doctoral studies in management studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Project manager, consultant and trainer with many years of experience in managing consultancy and implementation projects, currently working with Inprogress Ltd. He specializes in issues related to the implementation and operation of project management offices (PMO). It has PMP certificates, PRINCE2 Practitioner, TSPM, P3O Foundation.

A member of the Project Management Institute since 2012, PMI Poland Chapter is also the deputy editor of the quarterly magazine “Strefa PMI”. In his spare time he reads (mainly literature), wandering in the mountains, sailing, sailing. He leads the blog “PMO and surroundings”.

Michał Rączka
Project management expert, experienced in new technologies & digital leadership fields. In 2015 and 2016 named as the Top 100 Influencer in the Project Management Industry. Currently, he is the Head of IT Strategy and Project Management at mBank S.A and Leader of Advisory Board at the PMI Poland Chapter. He is also a project management lecturer at the Executive MBA programs and at the EY Academy of Business. He has conducted several organisational changes involving the optimisation of project management methods and agile transformations and is passionate about lean and agile approaches. Always keeps Team in the centre. Value and results focused with lean and agile approach. Individual with proven achievements in project & business management, process improvement and team leadership. Experienced in managing geographically distributed, multi-disciplinary projects and customer teams. Capable of leading and motivating individuals to build cohesive teams. Experienced in project excellence awards assessments. Conference speaker. Strategic Advisor. Lecturer. Volunteer. Mentor.
Maciej Bodych

Maciej is an expert in PMO, project and project portfolio management. He led IT and consulting projects in project management and project portfolio management, project office implementation and organizational maturity model assessment (including OPM3 ® and CMMI models). Trainer of mentioned subjects. Since many years experienced specialist in PPM system implementation.

In 2007-2010 worked as a Project Portfolio Manager at Raiffeisen Bank Poland, where he was responsible for implementation and management of the Bank's project portfolio, coaching and mentoring project managers; implementing project management methodologies. Since 2003 associated with the Project Management Institute (PMI ® ), where he was, President of the Warsaw Branch and of the Polish Chapter and the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Since 01.01.2011 has worked as PMI mentor responsible for Eastern Europe and as advisory in PMI Board Advisory Volunteer Committee.

He is a certified PMP, ACP, PfMP and also has certifications in field of quality (Six Sigma Green Belt and BlackBelt, ISO), software engineering (RUP, testing) and IT tools (IBM Rational, MS Project). He is an author of many articles in the field of project management and co-author of book: “PMO. Practise of implementation project and portfolio management in an organization” which describes the experiences with the implementation of the PMO and portfolio management in Polish organizations.

Agnieszka Krogulec

Certified PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation project manager and the TROP mentor. She has had the experience in working for one of the largest and international consultancy company where she has worked on business process optimization, organisation development and development workers for customers from a range of different fields. She has worked in multicultural teams.

Currently, project manager in KIR SA. She is closely associated with project management and promoting good practices. She was an associate judge in the contest for the Project of the Year in the International Project Management Association and a juror in the Enactus World Cup 2014 in  Beijing and the Enactus World Cup 2015 in Johannesburg.

Enjoy work with people and to be involved in implementing projects forming new quality and making the world better e.g. Project Management Kids Camp ( I was a project originator), Enactus and Szlachetna Paczka. Also, I am a member of Vital Voices Poland Leadership & Mentoring Network and a mentor in the project “Mentoring Walk”.

Passionate about travels, climbing on mountains, learning about new corners of the world, cultures and latin american dances.

Małgorzata Miernik

Project manager at Citigroup and banking insurance specialist.  She manages projects passionately in an international environment. Currently, leads teams and manages projects in the EMEA region. Passionate about managing global programs and projects.

Graduated from SGH Warsaw School of Economics in finance and accounting. She is an effective leader and organizer of conferences, events both at work and as a volunteer.

Volunteer in PMI PC since 2012. Besides, she is a vise-president of Education and Development in Warsaw Chapter PMI PC. Also, she is responsible for organizing International PMI Poland Chapter Congress since 2014.

Fascinated with travelling and learning about new cultures and places.
