PMI has existed since 1969 (more on offical PMI website) with more than 700,000 members operating almost in every country in the world (270 Chapters).

PMI’s history in Poland dates back to 2003. The association was created in response to the needs of the Polish market for professional project management. The founders of PMI in Poland are both managers and managers of major Polish and international business and academic organizations, as well as independent consultants.

Huge interest in both the Project Management and the organization itself has allowed the company to expand its activities throughout Poland.

Since May 8, 2007, the association has been operating as a PMI Poland Chapter and has transformed its structure by initially establishing 6 branches in Gdańsk, Cracow, Poznan, Warsaw, Wrocław and Łódź.

In 2010 Lubuskie branch was established, supplementing PMI’s current division of organization.

In December 2013 two new branches were established: Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Śląski. Currently, PMI Poland Chapter consists of 11 regional offices.

In December 2015, just before Christmas, the PMI PC Szczecin branch was officially opened. Welcome to the project management enthusiasts!

Programme Team

Programme Team cooperates very closely with Programme Board, which determine the direction of the 13th International PMI PC Congress.

We are responsible not only for attracting speakers from around the world, but also for getting in touch with them in order to make sure that all necessary details are clearly determined and confirmed. We encompass everything starting from Speech and ending up with the details of arrival to Warsaw. From moment of reaching Warsaw onwards Logistics Team is taking care about our Speakers.

13th PMI PC Congress is not only 2 days of lectures. It also includes workshops, debate, speed mentoring and many other accompanying events, for preparation of which we are responsible. Starting from the development of the entire agenda and finishing on defining and organising each event with high orientation on each details.

We put our best effort to make sure you will remember our Congress as a perfect platform for getting new knowledge and priceless business contacts We wish that good energy which accompanying our Congress will motivate you to continue your personal development.

Finance Team

Preparing the budget, developing a financial plan and cost controlling – these are major challenges of Finance Team.

To make it possible we are cooperating with other teams, just to become familiar with their financial demands and estimated spendings.

Every day we make every endeavour just to let our ideas and values spread among our sponsors with which we are establishing cooperation, giving them a unique opportunity to present and promote during the Congress. We strongly believe, that precision and scrupulousness of our work will undoubtedly contribute to the high quality of this project, and above all final satisfaction of the participants.

Marketing Team

The Marketing Team is responsible for effectively carrying out activities promoting the event and building the prestige of this event.

The Team conducts all marketing content activities (social media, newsletters, mailing), designs promotional materials and collaborates with partners and media patrons. The Team also edits and publishes press materials.

Logistics Team

The Logistics Team is ensuring everyone and everything is in place for the dates of XII International Congress by PMI Poland Chapter. The Team secures the accommodation for our speakers and guests as well as their arrival to Warsaw. They will also ensure that the venue is prepared with all required equipment to let the lectures run smoothly.

Participants Team

Participants Team is responsible for professional customer care during Congress. We coordinate proper flow of registration process and all corresponding cases. Congress Participants can contact us anytime by using participants@pmi.org.pl  address or pinging us via chat on Website. During event we are in duty for registration and making sure that all questions will not be left without satisfying answer.

    Since the beginning of her career, she has been associated with the manufacturing industry (beginning – household appliances and now – automotive), where she had the opportunity to know what the project means and she is following this way. Consequence and global look causes, she has been leading or supervising them for 8 years, also in an international environment. Professionally, she works as a project manager.

    Graduated postgraduate studies “Project Management” at WSB in Wroclaw, Wroclaw University of Technology and Training Academy.
    For everyday: resident of Wroclaw, recently professionally associated with Lodz. Owner of the little dog – Moris.
    In her free time she stops the moment in the lens, reads, bakes, cooks, travels, organizes, creates, move ☺

    Aleksandra Pryczek
    Programme Leader

    5th year student at the Warsaw School of Economics majoring in Management with specialty Project Management. Finished her bachelor and engineering studies in Cracow. Member of Project Management Students Club at the Warsaw School of Economics. Deputy Project Manager and Coordinator of Speakers and Participants’ Team of Project Management Days 2018.
    Convinced that working in corporation is not for her and looking for alternative career paths. Believes that if you’re not moving forward, you regress.

    In her free time, she likes to travel, experience new places and food. Keeps on trying her hand at cooking. Loves to watch movies and series, read books, spend time with family and friends, go for walks to discover unknown places. Does not respond well to boredom.

    Adam Wereda

    A graduate of University of Warsaw in Computer Science and Econometrics and of Warsaw School of Economics in post-graduate Investment Banking studies. For several years professionally associated with project management in the field of banking (private banking/ investment banking) and IT. He has been gaining experience both in Polish banking sector organizations as well as in the international investment bank where he works. His duties are related to financial management aspects both at projects/programs and portfolios level. Wide experience in dealing with numbers and a great curiosity about project management (supported by Prince2
    Practicioner certificate). In free time he devotes himself to running, reading books. Interested in music.

    Project Coordinator in Citi Handlowy. Expert in Security Information and Anti Money Laundering field.

    Educated chemist, however Project Management has become her passion. Currently, she effectively manages local as well as international projects at Citi Handlowy.

    Volunteer, for 8 years has been associated with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. In the Project Management Institute Poland Chapter since June 2017.

    Finance and Accounting (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University) and graduate Environment Engineering (Lublin University of Technology). First involved in project management when working on construction projects during her studies. Currently concentrating on gaining more experience and learning about good practices while collaborating with companies specialising in strategy building, process optimisation, implementing new solutions across organisations and property investment.

    Passionate about project management and team building techniques. Believes open communication is very important in all aspects of life. Constantly improving and looking forward to new challenges.

    IT project manager, currently specialized in managing network projects. She graduated Warsaw School of Economics (project management), and is passionate about social media and virtual marketing. She’s deeply in love with Asia (especially Japan), and every year tries to spend at least a month in her favorite country. He supports the local branch of PMI PC Szczecin as a volunteer.

    Primary interests are related to cinematography, audio-video technology, psychology and improvements of human contacts with a computer via user interfaces. Likes to spend his free time in touch with nature and on trips to various corners of the world.

    Philologist with a technical twist. In his career he has already been involved in the organization of film festivals, worked in the e-commerce industry and, as a Project Coordinator and PMO specialist, in IT. Process automation, improvements and tools are just one of his interdisciplinary interests.

    Although he has been working with PMI Poland Chapter Wrocław Branch for a short time, he is involved in many initiatives and actions since the day one.

    In free time, fan of everything fantasy and sci-fi, fascinated by the translation methods and a proud substitute parent of two cats.

Within IT project management for more than 5 years. Her first steps in project management performed as PMO, currently developing for IT PM. Charity Group Leader within the company.

    Local, Wroclaw patriot though she moved here only 8 years ago. Except for continual exploration of secrets of Wroclaw and its surroundings, she loves discover new culinary flavors, not only by tasting them in the restaurants, but mainly by cooking for her friends.
